Eleven years ago, I was looking for more of a challenge in my work. With my technical background as a welder and sheet metal worker, I joined Normec Rei-Lux in 2010 as a measurement technician, a role that suits me perfectly. I travel a lot and always work on location, sometimes abroad or at night. The work can be tough, but that's what I find satisfying: rolling up my sleeves, getting on with the job and looking back with satisfaction at the end of the day.

No two measurement assignments are the same. From street lighting to façade fixings and bridge railings: each object requires its own approach, influenced by factors such as location and soil. You learn that variety mainly in practice. If I encounter a problem, I consult with a colleague. That sparring with fellow professionals gives me energy.
