MIAS Pharma joined Normec in 2024 with a clear ambition: enable faster and safer access to breakthrough therapies across Europe and the UK. In this journey, collaboration is not an optional extra but a strategic accelerator. By working closely with sister companies, MIAS Pharma gains access to complementary expertise, local presence, and the ability to take on more complex challenges for customers and patients. For Pierre Baviera, CEO of MIAS Pharma, the strength lies in shared confidence, trust in each other’s capabilities, and a mindset focused on solutions.
MIAS Pharma’s mission is to accelerate the availability of advanced medicinal products. Within Normec, this mission gains momentum. Pierre describes how being part of Normec opens doors to a broader network of expert teams, entrepreneurial mindsets, and new forms of customer engagement. “We benefit from access to complementary capabilities that enable us to solve more complex challenges,” he explains. “This level of collaboration would not be possible without Normec.”
A recent customer challenge required batch certification and regulatory support across multiple countries, going beyond MIAS Pharma’s core services and footprint. Instead of seeking external partners, Pierre reached out to colleagues at Yxion, who are also part of Normec. The result was not simply operational alignment, but strategic synergy: shared expertise, cross-border capabilities, and a joint commitment to deliver for the client. Together, they formed a seamless team that fulfilled the complete requirement.
What stood out most for Pierre was the energy within the team. “There was a shared belief that even if we had not done something before, we could make it happen,” he says. That entrepreneurial mindset built collective confidence and created momentum. From the customer’s perspective, it felt like working with one integrated team rather than two separate entities.
For Pierre, successful collaboration depends on mutual trust on both leadership and operational levels. The MIAS Pharma and Yxion teams demonstrated that trust through transparency, capability, and a strong willingness to adapt.
This project illustrates how Normec can unlock opportunities that no single entity could deliver alone. When trust and capability come together, momentum follows. And that momentum is what drives our future together and with purpose.
